Plant it!

 

Hello everyone! I hope you are fine.

Today I'm going to tell you about a homework that I love to do. Homework is to prepare a magazine cover. Yes, you heard right. 

Our teacher asked us to design a magazine cover of the type we wanted. As a plant lover, of course, the subject of my magazine was plants and I designed the cover within this framework.

First of all, I will tell you about the application I use. It's called Canva. When you enter the site, you type "magazine cover" in the search section and the correct format appears. 

I decided to name my magazine "Plant it" and even designed a logo for it. You can see it at the bottom right. I also put the appropriate titles on the cover so that the content of my magazine attracts attention. I wanted it to look realistic so I put a barcode in the bottom left. 

When I talk about how this assignment made me feel, I can say that I felt creative while preparing the assignment; and I felt like I was doing something I love, not really doing homework, which I think is one of the rare beautiful things that students can feel. Therefore, in the future, I would definitely like to give such assignments to my students.
